The A217 route
From Banstead the driver heads to Burgh Heath and joins the A217 southbound. The road crosses the open downs past Kingswood and drops down Reigate Hill to junction 8 of the M25. From there it is two junctions east to the M23 and the airport. With hardly any town traffic, it is one of the most reliable airport runs we do.
Terminals at Gatwick
North Terminal
The larger of the two, with its own drop-off area.
South Terminal
Next to Gatwick railway station.
No train hassle
Banstead station is on a branch line, so getting to Gatwick by rail means changing at Sutton and again elsewhere. With suitcases and children, a door-to-door taxi is much easier, and for two or more people it is often similar in cost.
Pickups in Banstead
We collect from Banstead village, Nork, Burgh Heath, Garratts Lane and the roads towards Woodmansterne.
Flying home
Add your flight number when you book the return. The driver will be waiting in arrivals. Book both journeys together and the return costs 5% less.
Leaving the car at home
Gatwick parking for a fortnight in summer can cost more than a return transfer from Banstead, and that is before the drive and the shuttle bus. With a taxi, you also avoid driving home after a late landing. For two or more people, it often works out cheaper overall.
Nork and Burgh Heath pickups
From Nork, the driver heads up Nork Way to the A240 and then the A217. Burgh Heath is right on the A217, which makes it one of the quickest pickups in our area for Gatwick. If you live on a busy stretch of the A217, tell us where the driver can stop safely.
