London City Airport sits in the Royal Docks in east London, close to Canary Wharf and the City. It is the airport of choice for many business travellers, with short check-in times and quick walks to the gate. From Epsom it means a journey right across London, which is easiest by car.

How we get there
There are two main options, and the driver picks the faster one on the day:
- Across south London: through Sutton, Croydon or Wimbledon to the South Circular, then through the Blackwall or Silvertown tunnel to the Royal Docks.
- Round the M25: east to the Dartford Crossing, then back in along the A13. Longer in miles but sometimes quicker at busy times.

London City is known for quick security and short walks to the gate. Most airlines recommend arriving around an hour before a short-haul flight.
