Flying long-haul from Heathrow? From Ewell there is no easy train: you would need to get to Waterloo or Clapham Junction, cross London to Paddington and then take the Elizabeth line or Heathrow Express. Our Ewell to Heathrow taxi collects you from your door in the village, East Ewell or West Ewell and drops you at your terminal.
From Ewell Village, a saloon costs from £59. The drive is around 30 miles, usually 40 minutes outside the rush hour. The price is fixed at booking and covers the whole car.

How the driver gets you there
Ewell has two good ways to Heathrow, and the driver checks the traffic before setting off:
- Via Kingston: out along the A240 to Tolworth, across the Thames at Kingston, then through Hampton and Feltham to the airport. This avoids the M25 entirely and is often quickest at night and early in the morning.
- Via the M25: down through Epsom to junction 9 at Leatherhead and anticlockwise to junction 14 (Terminals 4 and 5) or 15 (Terminals 2 and 3). Better when the roads through Kingston are busy.
Timing an early flight
Ewell's roads are quiet before 6am, so early pickups are quick to get moving. Weekday mornings from 7am are a different story, with queues on the A240 and around Kingston. For a flight between 9am and 11am, we suggest leaving Ewell a little earlier than you might think. Tell us your flight time and we will recommend a pickup time.
Choose your terminal
Terminal 2 (The Queen’s Terminal)
Used by most Star Alliance airlines.
Terminal 3
Next to Terminal 2 in the central area, mostly long-haul airlines.
Terminal 4
On the south side of the airport, with its own road access.
Terminal 5
The British Airways terminal, at the western end of the airport.
Picking up in Ewell
We collect from any KT17 address: the High Street and Spring Street in the village, Ewell Court, the roads off Cheam Road and Reigate Road in East Ewell, and West Ewell towards Hook Road. If you live on a busy road such as the Ewell By-Pass, tell us where the driver can stop safely.
Coming home to Ewell
For the return, add your flight number. The driver tracks it, meets you in arrivals with a name board and brings you home. Book both directions at once and the return is 5% cheaper. See Heathrow to Epsom for more on arrivals pickups.
Long-haul from Ewell
Most Ewell passengers flying from Heathrow are heading long-haul: to North America, the Middle East, Asia or Africa. Long-haul means bigger luggage and earlier check-in, so think about the car size. Two adults with two large cases each will be more comfortable in an estate than a saloon, and a family of five needs an MPV. The booking form shows how many cases each vehicle holds.
Meeting friends and family at Heathrow
Collecting a relative from Heathrow and bringing them back to Ewell? You do not have to drive and pay for the short-stay car park yourself. Book the pickup in their name with their flight number, and the driver will meet them in arrivals with a name board. We send you the confirmation, and they get a text with the driver's details.
