Two routes to the airport
- Through Kingston: the A243 north to Hook and the A3, then over Kingston Bridge and through Hampton and Feltham to Heathrow. Short and often quickest outside rush hour.
- Via the M25: the A243 south to junction 9 at Leatherhead and anticlockwise to the airport. Useful when Kingston is congested.

Pickups in Chessington and Hook
From Chessington North and South, Hook, Moor Lane, the roads off Leatherhead Road and the streets towards Malden Rushett.
Hook and the A3
From Hook, the driver joins the A3 almost straight away, which makes Hook one of the best-placed parts of Chessington for Heathrow. From the southern side of Chessington, around Moor Lane and Malden Rushett, the driver may take the A243 to the M25 instead.
Weekend traffic near the resort
On summer weekends, traffic to Chessington World of Adventures can build up along the A243. If your Heathrow flight is on a weekend morning in the school holidays, we leave a little extra time.
