The A217 route
From Cheam the driver joins the A217 at Belmont and heads south past Banstead and Burgh Heath. The road crosses the Downs and descends Reigate Hill to junction 8 of the M25. From there it is two junctions east and down the M23 to the airport. It is a direct, mostly open-road route.

Train or taxi?
Cheam station is on the line between Sutton and Epsom, so a rail journey to Gatwick means changing at Sutton and again later. For a solo traveller that is manageable. With children or several cases, a taxi from your front door is far simpler.
Pickups in Cheam
From Cheam Village and the High Street, North Cheam and London Road, the roads around Cheam Park and Nonsuch Park, and the streets towards Belmont and East Ewell.
Coming home to Cheam
Add your flight number to your return booking. The driver tracks it and meets you in arrivals with a name board. Book both journeys together and the return is 5% cheaper.
