The route

From Sutton the driver chooses between the roads west through Cheam, Worcester Park and Kingston, then through Hampton and Feltham to the airport, and the M25 via Reigate Hill or Leatherhead. The local route is shorter in miles; the motorway can be faster in heavy traffic. The fare is the same either way.

By bus or by car?

The X26 bus runs from Sutton to Heathrow, which is useful for one person travelling light. For families and anyone with suitcases, a car from your door is much quicker and more comfortable.
